I hope he doesn't re-enlist, because we had the agreement that if he doesn't reenlist that I'll enlist.

I want to do the same thing but we have 2 kids and we don't want to jepordize leaving the kids with my parents or anyone else if and when (I know it will happen with his MOS and the one that I want MP) we are deployed together.
It sucks that you can't both do it at the same time.

Exactly.
We don't have kids yet, but we want some. And I know at some point during both of our enlistments that we would be deployed at the same time, or I would get deployed and right after i come back he'll be deployed. I've seen it happen so many times to dual military marriages.

Good luck to whatever you decide! I recently enlisted and am leaving for basic training. It's definitely going to be different on the other side of things for a change.
