It wasn't the strain and stress of having to be a single parent for Sharon, the wife of an army pilot and mother of two that tore her marriage apart -- it was the fact that her husband returned from Iraq a "changed man."
Have you ever thought about joining the military? I can't say that I ever have and here are some of my reasons. Please feel free to comment and add yours!
Just because I say in my confession that I'm active duty don't just assume I'm not. I make a post and suddenly I hear I'm "just a wife" What the fuck?!?

For those confused, if I type out a confession giving my opion about something in the military I hear "you're just a wife, you haven't served". Well you know what, I have served and I still am serving! Jest because I don't mention I'm in don't assume I'm not.

I said OTHER people were saying I was only a spouse. I post a confession and then I'm told I'm only a spouse by these women who don't know me.

I think it would be cool if there was a truemilitary or trueveterans, but there's not, so for those of us who are either in the military, or once were, and are married to someone else who's in, this is pretty much what we've got.
Wives come in all shapes, sizes, colors, AND military statuses. I'm a veteran. The OP, is AD. One of my girl friends is a Reservist with an AD husband. It takes all kinds.

I got bent out of shape because of another confession that I had posted. This one was in response to being told I was military and didn't understand. Sorry I head typo. Chill out
