Sarah Palin for VP? - Many are cheering for another woman taking center stage, and many are worried that this is a woman who's been promoted for the wrong reasons and is going to be blamed when things don't go right.

My husband doesn't want to re-enlist. I will support him in whatever he chooses, but I wish he would. I've told him, but he's set on getting out. I guess I'm just afraid.

Op here- He plans on going into State Police. I just wish he would stay in for a couple more years, but he's tired of missing everything with our family.
I know it's scary, we are about to go through it as well. I'm not one hundred percent on where we are going or what we are doing, but we will figure it out and he will be safe. I think we will be happier too. Best of luck to you guys!
my hubby is getting med discharged which earlier this year is what he wanted. they told him he couldnt re enlist and now we found out that that wasnt true, so he's going to try. i thought he seemed like he didnt want to but the more i discussed the pros and cons with him the more he warmed up to it. so he's going to try. he wanted out cause he missed our youngest daughters first birthday this year...after missing our 4rd anniversary it really hit him hard. but he knows that he really DOES want to do the military thing.

I've still got 5 yrs left.Re-enlisted for a good school. I plan to make good use of the time and I consider this an opportunity. But thats is the main reason I will not re-enlist. I don't care what DH says or thinks. I'm tired of missing out on DDs/DHs lives.I think he finally gets it.
