Sarah Palin for VP? - Many are cheering for another woman taking center stage, and many are worried that this is a woman who's been promoted for the wrong reasons and is going to be blamed when things don't go right.

Please tell me your secret!! i've been exercising, trying to eat well and only -4lbs!! Getting a little frustrated. (Oh, he's been gone 3 months!)

Tell me too, cause i have been taking hydroxycut hardcore and working my butt off and I have lost 5 lbs and he has been gone a month???

Sure do. I lost 40 the first deployment, so far 60 this one. I gained 15 of the first 40 back in the middle, but the overall effect isn't hard on the eyes!

yes it just happens w/o even trying for me. his last deployment i had just given birth to our 1st 10 days prior and had gained 40 lbs. with the pregnancy, i was down to prepreg weight by my 6 week check up with virtually no exercise b/c i had a c/s so i couldn't. this time he left 3 months after we had our 2nd child, again i had gained 40 lbs w/ that pregnancy but still had a good 20 to lose when he left. Within a month i had lost all of it and now i actually weigh 10 lbs than i did before i even had kids. but when you're handling 2 kids under the age of 2 by yourself all day, you tend to forget to eat....atleast that's what i do. which is not a good thing, so i don't recommend it. now i just hope i can keep it off until he returns. now that i've lost it, i'm just trying to tone it up!!

usually the first week or so when working out and such is water weight. Im on week 6 of working out, the first week I dropped 5 pounds, then the next I gained 5, loosing water weight gaining muscle...Im finally loosing actual weight and inches now. Only have 20 to loose to start with but :D
My husbands not deployed though.

I'm the original poster. I do Weight Watchers. It's so much easier when DH is not around b/c I'm not cooking as much--I can zap a Smart Ones or eat a salad. I think I just lose my appetite and get all stressed and my metabolism revs up!

Good for you other losers!
