After banning YouTube and other social Web sites on all overseas computers in May, citing bandwidth and security issues, the U.S. military on Tuesday launched TROOP TUBE, an alternative video-sharing Web site for troops, their families, and supporters. Have any of you tried it??? Let us know! We'd love to post your trooptube videos here on TMWC!
In honor of Veteran's Day - we thank the men and women of the Armed Forces for their service and sacrifice. Please watch the Veteran's Day Special from our friends at IN THEIR BOOTS.
i belive there is a god. but i dont belive in all the differnt religion BS like you have to do this or you will go to hell or you cant marry someone whos whatever or youll go to hell. and then they say god is all forgiving... give me a fucking break!
i also, hate it when people say that im crazy for not babtizing my babies yet. um, sorry, i think that when they are older, they should have the right to choose for themselves if and what they want to be babtized as. thats when it really means something. if we all die tomarrow, my babies are not going to hell becuase they arent babtized yet!! leave me the heck alone! thats a terriable thing for you to "believe" god will do!

God will forgive your spelling errors too, my child. j/k
LMAO at 1:19!!!! I needed that!
I just wrote a confession about kind of the same thing last night. It's such a touchy subject, and I feel like people who are trying to sway you one way or another really have no business in how you decide to raise your children. I was pretty much brainwashed by my parents to be a God-fearing Christian, and I "chose" to be baptised when I was eight. I didn't know I had any other options, it was either be "born again" or go to hell. It's YOUR decision, and if you don't feel comfortable doing it, then you have every right to wait until they're older to do so.
That being said, I don't care how people choose to raise their kids. It doesn't affect me, and I know I have no business prying into their personal lives like that. From my own personal experience, I want to see my children happy in knowing that they exhaustively researched every thought, idea, and religion before they decide what to believe. I don't want them to resent me for trying to sway them one way or the other, and I think it would be more heartfelt and sincere for them to find religion on their own terms.
Good luck!
exactly! thank you! :)
#1, get off the spelling errors. I am an English teacher and there are bigger things going on here than a few typos. OP, your babies will not go to hell. They are too young to know right from wrong. There is nothing wrong with baptizing them later on. We must all respect other religions even if we don't agree with them.
Aren't children pure in the eyes of God? And didn't Jesus say let the children come to me because heaven is theirs?
If looney English teachers or anybody say your going to HELL or your kids (HOLY BATMAN SHIT ON THAT), HELL what a interesting DOGMATIC word, then tell them "Are you going to HELL? They will say NO. answer:"GREAT, book me on a first class ticket to HELL then!" Such people do not believe in freedom and NEVER will. WOW English is easier then I thought.

Silly girl, didn't you notice that she said she was just kidding? For an English teacher, your reading skills sure are lacking.
Good for you. My parents let me choose. I am very glad they did.
yup. i knew a girl who was forced to be a certain religion. she was unhappy as a child and when she was a teen she finally stood up for herself to her parents and told them, she doesnt want to live that life. im so glad she did and im so glad shes happy. she just got to celebrate her birthday for the FIRST time!
