It wasn't the strain and stress of having to be a single parent for Sharon, the wife of an army pilot and mother of two that tore her marriage apart -- it was the fact that her husband returned from Iraq a "changed man."
Have you ever thought about joining the military? I can't say that I ever have and here are some of my reasons. Please feel free to comment and add yours!
I have a drinking problem. Today will be my first day of sobriety. Last time I made it 11 days. Good luck to me!

and wisdom to know the difference."
Thats great news that you keep on trying. I wish you all the best and even if its for just one day longer than your last attempt, at least your not giving up. Good luck to you!
One day, one hour, and if necessary...one minute at a time. ((((hugs))))

better get off this site, OP, some of these girls will drive you to drink LOL
I have had a serious drinking problem too and now that I'm sober...all I can say is you feel so much better and happier in life. I know you probably do not think so because I didn't believe it either at the time.. but once you're not addicted anymore you just feel so much happier and wonder why you even felt like you needed to drink in the first place. It will take a few days of withdrawal...those days are hard but force yourself through them..you WILL be happier you quit it. I have so been there and never thought I'd be okay without a drink...I am happier now than I've ever been.
Good luck!
You can do it! I know you can!! :)
Im with you......
