After banning YouTube and other social Web sites on all overseas computers in May, citing bandwidth and security issues, the U.S. military on Tuesday launched TROOP TUBE, an alternative video-sharing Web site for troops, their families, and supporters. Have any of you tried it??? Let us know! We'd love to post your trooptube videos here on TMWC!

If you don't want to be called ghetto, then don't act like it. Quit taking it as a racist term, because it's not anymore. Even white people are ghetto. If you are going to spend $50,000 on a damn vehicle, why don't you buy your kid[s] clothes that fit and do something about your roof caving in.

I agree. "Ghetto" is not racial. I can think of people I have met of EVERY race that fall into that category.
The word "ghetto" was originally used to describe areas where Jews were confined to when they were the minority population. The word shifted to describe these same areas as populated by Irish, Germans, Chinese, African Americans, and its now used to describe living conditions/ behaviors being "low class" instead of certain ethnic or racial groups. I agree with PP, I have met people of many races that fall into this category.
Haha my husband and I both bought nice cars before he planned on joining the army. We're stuck with payments we can barely afford now, like half of our income goes to car payments and insurance (We would sell them, but in this economy we can't get anything for them). Regardless, I agree with the OP, it's stupid to drive around a in nice car while your house and your kids look like crap. Luckily we don't have kids, or else we'd look completely ghetto!
