It wasn't the strain and stress of having to be a single parent for Sharon, the wife of an army pilot and mother of two that tore her marriage apart -- it was the fact that her husband returned from Iraq a "changed man."
Have you ever thought about joining the military? I can't say that I ever have and here are some of my reasons. Please feel free to comment and add yours!

As soon as i walked into our house knowing he wasnt coming home that night i lost it.

201 and one days, man you're lucky!
We're one 145 and have 5 months (ish) to go.
hang in there! you can do it! it will get easier with time! :)
When you say it like that makes it sound so long, i still have 150 days plus if im lucky wish he would only deploy for 3-4 months at a time, this year plus crap is for the birds.
your normal. The majority of us do the same thing. It doesnt matter if its your 1st or last deployment, at some point, you break down and cry. Hang in there sweetie, its worth the wait.
OP here. Weve been through a deployment before but it was easier because we didnt have a house so i moved home because i was i pregnant. so now that we have our own home and a child it makes it so much harder for me and him. 7 months isnt that long but i know the first few weeks will just go by soo slow
thanks girl for the support
Wow that day seems like yesterday, but it was 5 months ago. R&R is next month and then we have 4-5 months after that until he is home for good...well for a while at least. Hang in there. The first month drags on I think, but I have no idea where these 5 months went! Hang in there, and be strong for yourself and baby!
