After banning YouTube and other social Web sites on all overseas computers in May, citing bandwidth and security issues, the U.S. military on Tuesday launched TROOP TUBE, an alternative video-sharing Web site for troops, their families, and supporters. After almost 7 years of marriage, basic, AIT, and 2 deployments I am very proud to say I am one of the few that has always been faithful to my husband. And I know I will stay faithful to him during this next deployment too. My husband and family mean way to much to me to throw it away with a night of sex. I just don't understand why people do that.

I definitely agree with #1. Cheaters represent only a small minority. I've also been at this for the better part of a decade, as a soldier and then as a wife. The number of cheaters I have seen in all these years would not fill both my hands.

3:42 thanks for pointing out that it isn't just about sex...I know that when most women cheat it is because they are emotionally not getting something in their relationship...its men who usually cheat for just the sex.

Op your husband should be proud that he married a women who stands by his side...being a military wife isn't for everyone.

I am so sick of people saying they are 'one of the few'. I know PLENTY of wives that have remained faithful through deployments, including me. Apparently, It's not just civilians that think wives are cheaters.

5:45, 6:11, amen to you two. I'm 3:42 and while I've been 100% faithful to my DH (active duty Army), we met while I was still married to xH. You really can't judge until you're in those shoes. I wasn't being fulfilled in multiple areas of my life, and while I never wanted to hurt my xH, my current DH and I couldn't help but fall in love with each other. Sometimes shit happens, bottom line. I sought counseling right away, asked xH if he wanted to go to couples counseling, and he declined. My DH and I then moved in together and have been married a year now (together for 3).
monogamy is so much hotter then an open relationship or cheating. the fact that you can find one person to fulfill all those needs - awesome.
i love being married and i love the fact that my husband is the only man i find sexy enough to sleep with!

Yeah.. I think that comment about being one of the "few" is off base. I have always been faithful. We don't deserve a brownie button, we do it because we took vows. This almost feeds into the BS that all Army wives cheat, when in actuality it is only a few skanks that have to find any warm body to sleep with.
I totally get what you are saying and I think you are right on for being faithful, I just think it can make AW's look like those of us that are faithful are few and far between.
