After banning YouTube and other social Web sites on all overseas computers in May, citing bandwidth and security issues, the U.S. military on Tuesday launched TROOP TUBE, an alternative video-sharing Web site for troops, their families, and supporters. Usually I don't. But sometimes it just makes it too hard to understand. Punctuation is around for a reason.

I don't mind a couple of errors, I'm guilty of it too, but I must admit that I cringe when I see people who can't tell the difference between your and you're, too, two, and to, affect and effect, their, there, and they're... you know... the words they drill into your head in fourth grade... or maybe that was just me. I can understand what you're saying, I just don't take it as seriously as I would if you knew how to spell. Not trying to be a bitch, I just really apprectiate correct spelling.
I find it really ironic and hilarious when a person says something like "YOUR SO RETARDED!!" I just have to laugh and move on.

I have a hard time not commenting on people's errors myself...but I do my best not to! It doesn't affect me one way or another if someone can't or chooses not to spell correctly.

Oh who gives a rat's ass if someone can't spell or has a typo or two? Good God! If someone has nothing more important going on in their life that they feel the need to pick apart what someone says on here, then someone needs a new hobby or something else to occupy their time.
It's just really sad when we see people who completely butcher the English language like they never even went to school. How can we complain that immigrants should speak/read/write English when we can't even do it ourselves? And I'm not talking about crazy, obscure grammatical technicalities, or random occasional typos, I mean the difference between your and you're, there and their, two and to, etc. Basic. English.

I think proper grammer is important. But when someone is pouring their heart out about a problem they are having and all you can comment on is a misspelled word then you need to get a life.

1 56 why would you add a ? to the end of that sentence? Hmmm..I think if so many of you have such a problem with ppl's grammer and punctuation. Then maybe you should spend all your free time, not on here, but on tutoring. Because in today's world they have zero teachers who care enough about a student. To actually spend time needed to correct any actual errors. They just pass you along to the next grade. My son, in a military school. Is not learning anything in the 2nd grade. So far his first week has consisted of 3 recesses and watching movies.
