After banning YouTube and other social Web sites on all overseas computers in May, citing bandwidth and security issues, the U.S. military on Tuesday launched TROOP TUBE, an alternative video-sharing Web site for troops, their families, and supporters. Have any of you tried it??? Let us know! We'd love to post your trooptube videos here on TMWC!

Yep, less than a week after he left my washer died. And a few days after that the check engine light on my car came on, luckily though that was a one time occurance.

I'ts God's way of making us stronger. Our first deployment, I was going though an awful bout of post-partum depression. He left three months after our first was born. Three weeks later Katrina hit my home town where my family and friends still lived. I couldn't get leave to go help clean-up. A month later I let some therapist convince me I'd be happier as a SAHM than in the service. I became even more depressed after getting out. But, I got through it! And our last one was just as difficult but I got through that too. Hang in there ladies!
after about three weeks of my hubby being gone my garage door broke. i don't plan on saying anything about because i will get it fixed before he comes home. my vacume got cloged and usually my hubby fixes it so good thing he showed me what to do before he left. 30 minutes later i fixed it and i felt like i grew little pink balls :) i was so proud of myself.
Yep new washer and dryer--I also need a new DW because that broke too but I have 0% interest on the W/D so I'm hand washing dishes until I pay off the first appliances. It's not so bad since we're down one person.
I know it's like bills when you don't have much money all the bills come at once I hate it
2 days after he left, I discovered one of my kids has lice-for a 3rd time since January. Yep, got a boat-load of laundry and cleaning to do, and no one to help me! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!
2 weeks into his advanced training the Baby climbed the gate and then the counter (at 4 am) and got a glass vase from 12 feet up, carried it down and used it as a step stool to try to get a picture down from the wall of 'daddy' it broke and went though is foot- the day I took out his stitches (I am trained to do this so don't judge) I broke my foot. the next day the baby hit his brother in the head with a toy that I because I was on crutches couldn't get to fast enough- and cut him in the head- needed--- yup u guessed it- stitches. Then to day as I was doing dishes the baby (hes 2 but still MY baby) Pushed the fishtank into the sink- so I had to save the lives of 5 fish the other 2 have still not been located and now there are fish tank rocks in the disposal. GOTTA LOVE DEPLOYMENTS! Hang in their y'all. It can get worse!
