Q: MODS-it just happened and I'm already tired of all the "duggar family" confessions. can we move them to a blog?

Q:i really hate it when somebody confesses something and then somebody has to chime in and say "this is a response post". who cares? maybe it's not, you don't know for sure! even if it is, they let plenty of other obvious response posts through everyday (the fun ones, like what our dh's superhero names were, or a certain topic, they're all response posts), so why single out one and tattle like a 6 yr old "you did a response post! i'm going to tell mommy (aka 'the mods')!"
A: Actually the fun ones are trends, if someone were to post “I think your super hero name is stupid,” that would be a response. “My super hero name is bubblewoman,” is not a response, it’s a topic. If we banned all confessions on the same topic then only one person would have ever been allowed to post they were frustrated with their husbands :)
Q:ok mods, this is ridiculous. a few weeks ago i asked you why two of my posts didn't get through (body section:one about mirena iud, one about ovulation cramps) and you said it was b/c they were basically the same confession, one right after the other. (they are NOT the same). since then, i've seen double or triple posts at least 3 times. why would you allow the exact same confession through 2x, but give me some bullshit excuse as to why my 2 completely different posts didn't get through?
A: I think you need to reread my answer. The fact that your three posts were similar was ONE of the reasons your post didn’t get through, the first and foremost being that it was asking for advice. One of them made talk of the day, which was the ONLY reason that one got through at all. On another note, the duplicate posts, like the exact same confession to the letter, posts that sometimes get through are a site glitch.
Q:mods can we PLEASE stop with the anti-santa/santa is a lie confessions? it's one thing to post a confession. it's another to act all high and mighty to the rest of us on here, basically telling us we're horrible parents for "lying" to our kids about santa. those aren't confessions. they're response posts.
A: Agreed. All those posts should be directed to the blog, for a bit at least
Q:MODS-can we please stop all the confessions about "Santa?" Seems if you tell your kids Santa is real, you're a liar, and if you DON'T tell your kids about Santa, you "ruin the magic". It's getting annoying.

Q:MODS: can we get a ticker on the main page with the time the site was last updated? and say if its EST or whatnot? just thought i would ask!
A: I’ll forward that suggestion to Romi :) It would REALLY cut down on the times I get confessions that go “OMG! you haven’t updated in NINE hours. Look at the last confession time!” an hour and a half after the last update.
Q:MODS: NAMEDELETED is name calling and being completely rude to others in comments on the Wife Board. Please consider looking into this uncalled for behavior.
A: I’ve read through that persons last ninety comments and didn’t find any name calling. If I’m missing it, and please, let me know if I did, it’ll be easy to find with the user name, I will take action, but as of now I’m just seeing snarky comments. Annoying as all get out, but not really against the rules.
It’s also possible I’ve got the wrong user name. I typed in what you gave me, but there’s a lot of similar names, a plural form, for instance.
Q: MODS: my confession about college was not posted today. It may not have been a very pleasant confession, but it didn't break the rules. What gives?
A: I’ve got three college posts that didn’t go through in recent history. One was a racist remark about STD’s, the other bashed the military, and the third bashed all uneducated people. At truu, we try not to let anything that discriminates against any particular groups of people get through, whether it be a persons race, vocation, or intelligence level. It’s one thing to post about a PERSON who annoys you, but when the scope widens to everyone who is x, y or z, we have a problem.
Q: Dear MODS: I'm getting sick of the user CONFESSORDELETED breaking down some users confessions. She's negative and is starting to attack users. Most specifically The Editor's Pick, where the user CONFESSORDELETED posted a very positive confession and CONFESSORDELETED personally attacked CONFESSORDELETED for no reason. Is there any way to weed these negative and harsh comments from CONFESSORDELETED that are attacking the comments? Thanks, sincerely, a regular on Truu.

Q:MODS: I've posted a couple times about the "editors pick" and how I don't think there is much rhyme or reason to which confession gets picked. But you guys wont post it. I don't really understand why? what rule is that breaking?
A: I apologize. You posted something else in your confession that could upset people, no matter how unintentional. Just think of one of the most frequent complaint users make about the mods, and I’m sure you’ll understand why I didn’t want to open that flood gate for a complete coincidence. Also, you’re confession was really more of a commentary on how the site was run, so it belongs here :)
