Q:MODS I posted a confession about 2 women here (in my area) in their 50's/60's who are disliked/liked.. I think someone thought it was about people here (the site) but! it was not. Don't ban me
A: Okay. Just be more specific when you throw words like “here” in your confession. Try at work, or at wherever you know them. Here sounds like... here.

A: It was posted as a talk of the day. It didn’t get posted the day you confessed it because it was a question, not a confession.

Q: MODS - the poster whose mom died due to complications after her amputations...she must be suffering terribly. Please remove her confession as the 'feature'. It must be awful for her to log in and see it there time after time. I know it would be for me. She may not be logging in, I realize, but should she....I doubt she'd want to see it as a reminder. She wrote it while her mom was still alive and suffering.

Q:Mods: Isn't there a rule against advice confessions? If I wanted self help advice, I'd browse that section in Amazon, not Truu...
A: There is, with the exception of the talk of the day. That’s one confession per weekday that’s allowed through seeking advice.
Q:MODS - can we please put to death the premises-from-movies-and-TV-shows-masquerading-as-confessions BS? It's really annoying and cluttering up the board with stupidity.
Q: MODS Some idiot is 'confessing' story lines from TV shows and moves. I've only red 2 pages of confessions and found 3 already. 687860-My Best Friends Wedding, 687869-Big Bang, 687861-Some Robin Williams movie I forget the name of. I'm sure there are more too, someone must be really bored today. (BTW, I'm number dyslexic so I hope I managed to type the right numbers for you.)
A: Okay. I thought they were pretty funny at first, but it’s been overdone now.
Q:MODS: I also think its a great idea to have an Off-Topic board where posts don't have to be real confessions. In THAT board, politics and opinions could be fair game, and people who WANT to participate in that stuff could go there instead of clogging up the confessional.
A: I absolutely agree.
Q:MODS: I like the way the site is now, especially the fact that comments ONLY have a "MeToo" button. There are people here who would get "downvoted" and flamed for just about every comment just because they're not well liked. It's nice to have a "MeToo" button on comments so you know when people agree with you. And if people disagree, then they can respond with an actual comment and stand behind their opinion with their screenname. Then if THEIR comment gets lots of MeToo's, the previous commenter will know that there are plenty of people who have a different opinion.

Q:MODS: I think you guys should be very careful about adding more button options on confessions. "LOL" would be a terrible button if people clicked it on a confession about considering suicide for example. "Ugh" and "BS" are too similar to "OMG" and could also cause hurt to the OP if it's a sensitive confession. You should always consider unintended consequences.
A: You’re right. We’ve worked hard to keep our feedback buttons kind of ambiguous because this is supposed to be a place to come for support. I do like the idea of a hugs button though.
Q:Dear mods: my confession was made editors pick the other day (flaking friend dilemna), the disappeared. Thats fine, but why couldnt it be kept in rotation so I could at least get any feedback there might be. Sorry it wasnt interesting enough. Thanks.
A: The editors pick changes every other day (except for holidays). It was no reflection on how interesting your confession was.
Q:Hey Mods I think you do a great job 99.9% of the time, I really do! With regard to Truudads, it came up quite a long time ago and we were told it WAS under consideration for reinstatement so I am curious whether it will be making a return. I think it was incredibly short sighted to remove it. I love hearing the male point of view, good bad or indifferent. We women have the same 'scoundrel' thoughts and comments men do. So I'd like to know if and when and why it will or will not be reinstated.
A: We were for sale at the time, so Romi wasn’t going to make any major changes to the site, but it was under consideration because that suggestion was the first one that was sent to the new owner. They’re getting a feel for how the site runs now before making any major changes. I will forward your suggestion to them.

A: If it’s still going on by Monday, yes.
Q:MODS can we drop the obesity and nitpicking posts on overweight people?
A: Absolutely.
Q:MODS confession 687454 in the mom section is a response to a comment in an earlier confession where someone stated that some people think they have more important things to spend their mom=ney on than lifesaving medical treatment. I think it was the confession about the USA being the only rich country where no everyone recieves medical care
