I hate going away parties. Someone is always going away. It gets kind of ridiculous. We've been here for 6 months, and several of the parties we've been invited to have been for people I just barely know. My husband has worked with them, so he knows them a little better, but it's not like we had this fantastic relationship with them or their family or something. At one party I was meeting the people for the first time. It's the military. Someone will always be going away!
