BFF came over yesterday with her 4yo DD. I told her I had schoolwork to do so she couldn't stay too long. She bragged for an hour about the great sex she had with her new fling at 3am that morning and then passed out on my couch while I watched her kid and tried like heck to write my report. When she finally woke up she didn't even say thank you.

It's 90 degrees outside and I'm sitting here in jeans, long sleeve shirt and a hoodie buried beneath a blanket because DH feels the need to have the AC at "arctic."

i was watching a video on facebook of my friends grandson crawling on the floor. omg! you should have seen the carpet! it was nastier then nasty! maybe it's me? i was always so ocd about where my kids crawled. and we don't wear our shoes in the house. thank goodness!

DH's family are born again Christians. They're a lying, spiteful and hateful group of people who hide behind religion. There is more dysfunction in his family than I have ever seen before. It's sad and disturbing.

There was a kid who was assigned to me & another mom yesterday at the zoo who was awful. You could tell he was used to getting negative attention by having fits, etc. I told him he is six years old and his behavior is unacceptable and we will ignore him when he acts like that. I gave him positive attention when he was behaving properly. He was better by the end of the day, but seriously it was exhausting. I felt bad for him.

DS has a remote control tarantula he got for Christmas. He got it out the other day to play with it and left it sitting on the couch next to a black blanket which it kinda blended in to so it was hard to see. Later that day, he sat down on the blanket, right next to the tarantula. He looked over, saw the tarantula and jumped off the couch screaming. LOL. Too funny! I wish I'd video taped it.

What does an uninterrupted sleep feel like again? I can't remember. God I miss sleeping in

Talk about entitlement. I was just told that a payment plan should be "what the person can afford." Umm...no. More like, if you can't afford it then you can't get it. You wouldn't expect a car dealer to sell you a car and just let you decide how much you're going to pay because that's what you can afford. Don't expect us to sell you our services and let you dictate how much you are going to pay per month. It's enough that we allow a payment plan.

Our 5 year old came into our bed sometime last night. My back is killing me today!! I love her but this has got to stop. Time to lock our bedroom door :(

Congrats to everyone who advanced with the Navy! including my husband. I am so proud of him!
