Motor skills delays, visual planning issues- there are a lot of reasons why some kids have difficulty learning to do basic things that their peers do easily. People who don't realize this seem a bit dim to me.

I have found that Target and ON have really gotten cheap in quality, especially ON. I bought a tank-tunic there two days ago and it started to pill the first time I wore it. It made me realize why I choose to shop at Marshalls and TJ Maxx for the majority of my handbag/wardrobe needs.Better brands, same prices. And dont get me started on Walmart. Yuck.

My mother absolutely hates that I have a small family. I have two DD's and have made plans so I do not have more. She had six children and I know it really gets to her that I won't just slap on a smile and tout the party line my siblings do about how amazing and fabulous it is being part of a big family. She can tell all her friends how great a big family is, but she is not happy that my children are a symbolic flip of the bird that make people question if it was so great why didn't your DD want that for herself? Sorry mom but I am not going to have more children so that you can look good.

PSA - when a family member has a mid second trimester miscarriage after announcing a healthy pregnancy, don't ask what happened. It is not worth the other person's pain to satisfy your curiosity.

How much black eyeliner can you slather on a seventh grader's eyes for her Confirmation? And her 16 year old sponser in a thigh-high tight miniskirt, huge chest hanging out, and stilettos. These are my friend's daughters, and I love these girls, but I'm really kind of disgusted.

My mom left when I was very young and I grew up in abusive foster homes. I remember always having the disposition that she left because something was wrong with HER, not me. It was painful at times but I always told myself that SHE was missing out and would regret not knowing ME. Never saw her again, but its what helped me and I went on to live a very happy and successful life. I was not going to let her ruin it further by holding onto her crap. My revenge was living well.

Had my "sprinkle" today for baby #2. It was very nice and we got some super cute gifts. But I only got 3 things off the registry! Don't know why with #2 people think we need a Disney princess build a bear over diaper cream.

To my sons teacher....you choose the behavior, you choose the consequence. You decided to have the affair with another students father (married) and you also being married. This drama played out the whole school year. Stop being the victim. This has made for a most uncomfortable schoolyear. Before you return next year, please work thru your issues. very awkward for the rest of the students, parents, and staff.

I taught my DD how to tie her shoes in K with a ten minute lesson. Before that, we always had velcro. I bought her shoes with ties, showed her how to do it, and that was the end of the story. ONE DAY to learn. How hard can it be?
