Start training for a new WAH job next week. Nervous and excited. It's a CSR position for catalog sales. Hope this is a good move. Did WAH for a cable company for 3 yrs and while I LOVE helping people it was rather stressful. People can get really torqued over tv.

Found a guy to charge our A/C unit for $110. Local HVAC company wanted $455 for the same dang thing. Gotta love Craigslist. :)

I've never done the bunny ears. I tie by making a loop, tying the other lace around and through. Only people tell me I do it backwards, whatever that means.

There is a kid in preschool that my son gets along with really well. But the kid comes from a really rich family and we are lower class. I want to approach the parents about maybe making a playdate or two over the summer, but I'm scared and ashamed of our lives. I couldn't invite them over so we would have to go somewhere else for a playdate, and I feel like they might be the type of people that turn their noses up at the McDonald's play place or local parks around here.

I am continually amazed by the hypocrisy of a certain woman on my facebook feed who posts about how all bullying needs to be stopped and then 10 seconds later posts about how homosexuality is wrong and gay marriage is going to be the downfall of our society. Hello, do you not know that a large percentage of the bullying that occurs is due to homosexuality (real or perceived) and that GBLTQ teens are way more likely to commit suicide due to bullying?

DD has been dating a drug addict for awhile. She herself used to be an alcoholic, but has been sober for a year. Her boyfriend has had periods of sobriety. What she doesn't understand is our dislike for the things he has done to her. I finally asked her, "Do you want us to love him or hate him?" He's supposed to go to rehab today. I pray he gets help for his addiction. But I still have feelings of ill will towards him and I told DD this. He has alot to prove to DH & I. She's our little girl even though she's an adult. Maybe if she ever has a child, she will realize how we feel. It's hard.

we get dd a balloon bouquet every year for her bday. it's our thing. last year we got one from the flower store sil works in. in turned into a nightmare because the 2 twits who delivered it said i was talking bad about sil. i would never do that! this year i went online to order the balloons. balloons were delivered late. guess who's flower shop they came from? yep, sil! since i ordered them online i didn't know who the florist would be using. ugh. next time i will call!

Went to watch dd8 in her class play this morning. She was one of the lead characters. It amazed me to see her up there! She knows her lines, uses the appropriate emotions and inflections, speaks loudly and cleary and you can tell she just loves it! I was so scared of that sort of thing when I was her age (and even now). I am so amazed that such an outgoing, non-shy kid came out of me! She's the kid I always wanted to be growing up!

I am just depressed got into a huge fight last night with DH over sex.. i just dont want it I am 3 mo Post baby I feel awful about my body and have 0 sex drive help ladies what to do ? I am fearing that he is going to one day get fed up with me

I read that songs are stored in a different part of the brain and the lyrics are usually always remembered. When I teach important things to my kids, I do it through a song. At a very young age, they knew their address, full name and spelling, phone number, etc. It works people.
