My SO and I live apart. We want to find a place together, but it's been really hard in the economy to get even a one-bedroom apartment in a safe neighborhood. At present I share a house with three people. Today a housemate threatened to complain to the landlord that I have overnight company too often unless I agreed to their request to leave the kitchen window open at all times. What a strange thing to be blackmailed over. I've already written to the landlord to request a consultation about it.
