I don't feel sad for a homeless dog that has a homeless owner. At least the dog is not in a cage in a shelter getting ready for death. Besides, the dog is more apt to be fed by strangers than the human. Sad but true. I think the dog and human appreciate the companionship, and need it probably. The animal doesn't know what a house is so it's not like they are saddened to not be in one. I feel very sad though for the simple fact that they are homeless. I wish I can help them all.
