I went to the laundry mat today to wash a comforter. I could not stop being paranoid that I would find a chicken bone in my laundry! Thanks to the OP who posted that one, LOL!!

Ugh- We have carpenter ants. DH treated outside yesterday, I sprayed & set out those clear gel traps inside. I checked the trap this morning and there were 10 giant ants in it. BAH! My skin has been crawling all day! I hope we've solved this and there isn't a kingdom in the walls.

I'm kind of freaking out right now. About to put down a $2200 deposit on our reception venue. There is a $10000 food and beverage minimum as well as the $4000 rental. We can afford it but I have never spent so much money in my life. I never thought in a million yrs I would be spending over $20000 for a wedding. It's probably going to be over $30k. There is literally nowhere else that is near what I had in mind for a venue. I'm just so scared of spending money.

DH, you knew what you were getting into when you married me, an animal lover. When I tell you that I am willing to take in one or two or my uncle's birds (who is beginning to suffer from dementia), last thing I need is for you to tell me no. You can't tell me no. You don't clean here, I do. If you don't want the birds, i will happily move out and keep them without you.

My husband is a loud snorer. I tell him he has no idea how lucky he is that a I am a very heavy sleeper, so i don't hear him, and am not one of those women who are always whining about lack of sleep due to her husband's snoring.
