I have two cats and I clean the litter box in the morning and at night. I suppose that is overcleaning it but I do not want my house smelling of litter box so that thing gets cleaned twice a day. I guess I am a little paranoid of people coming into my house and smelling my cats' box.
What would you pay your neighbors kids (11-14DSs) to mow your lawn--it will maybe take an hour or less. I gave them 25 they wanted 40 and I was like ugh NO.. its not even that big and they are kids. not other trimming is done.
Had to put down our 10 year old Great Dane. Just as DH was getting ready to drive dog down to vet our son (4) ran out to van yelling 'Wait, wait, I forgot to tell him something,' he opens the van door and says to our dog 'Its going to be OK, I know you are going to make lots of friends wherever you are going and you aren't going to hurt anymore.' Ugh, I tried to keep it together for kids but after that I was a waterfall!
Truu Bride is now Truu Sex, Truu Military Wives is now Truu Opinions :)
Do we really create what we fear?
I want to post "Mohawks are the new mullet," on my Facebook page, but too many of my friends have kids with mohawks. HA!
So I send dh to the store with instructions to pick up the mail and some ice cream. He asked what kind. I replied first choice is cookies and cream or chocolate chip or chocolate. He comes home with cookie dough. I give up.
feet gross me out. not baby feet, but older kid and adult feet. that's why it was gross for me to cut ds's toenails. to think i used to kiss his feet when he was a baby. ewww! hahahahaha~
DH and I started working out at the gym but its so hard to find someone to watch DS (9) when we go. He has karate practice Tuesday nights for 1.25 hours and I've suggested that be one of our days and time but DH says its wrong to leave DS. Am I wrong? It seems perfectly normal. As long as we attend all his tournaments, why do we need to sit through every lesson?
I'm a fifth grade teacher in an extremely low-income, minority area. Most teachers have never been to their kids' houses. I'm debating doing a quick home visit at the start of the year next year - when I have visited homes, the kids tend to be much more invested because they know how much I care... Hmmmm...
