Starting weight 2 yrs ago-178lbs at 5ft 1in tall.
currenty weight 128lbs. And on top of that, my doc says i just might kick my Type II diabetes! this has been such a long road, but it's so worth it when you truly take your time, and enjoy even the SMALLEST goals (2lbs here, 5lbs there) every pound lost was celebrated. :)
I'm going to be in my sister's wedding this september, but due to me walking my dogs all this summer i have the dreaded "farmers tan"...I'm so nervous about using a self tanner to even it out just at the shoulders, chest and back. I don't want to end up looking like Snooki! HELP!
It drives me bonkers when i go buy new bras. something i HATE anyways. i finally find one i like and feels okay on, then get a few other colors in the same style. but even though they are cut the same they ALL seem to fit slightly different and then i spend the day completely uncomfortable and waiting on the one that did feel okay to finally dry so i can wear it again!
I'm not sure why evolution endowed children with the ability to squeel so loudly that your eardrums almost rupture, but I do understand why evolution created the great need for 'cuteness' in children. It counters the knee jerk reaction to smack that which is screaming into next week. :P
My rage is at a dangerous level right now. DH's deployment was extended. He was suppose to be home in less than 2 weeks. I should be used to this after 10 yrs...but i'm SO pissed off right now i cannot think straight!
SO glad my period came before DH is due back from AFG! It would have reaaaaaally put a damper on 'welcome home' lovin' it had come next week! I've never been regular (drives me nuts) and i don't think DH would care about riding the crimson wave, but i find the idea revolting!
DH let me sleep in this morning. He said that I was dead to the world even though the alarm clock went off for 5mins so he just thought I needed some rest. When I got up he had taken DD to school (lunch packed and homework folder signed) and had done 2 loads of laundry. He then went and bought me my fav coffee from starbucks and picked up a gallon of milk that we needed. I was able to get some crafting done that I've been putting off and took a long hot shower. Thank you dh, you totally made my day, and this weekend I'll be doing something special in return. :)
LOL, so I was making dinner tonight and asked youngest DS(4) if he wanted help me. We got out my spaghetti pot. He started filling it with water. Once it was as full as I wanted I said: Okay, turn the water off. Instead he grabs the sprayer and squeezes the trigger. It shoots across the kitchen soaking me, the countertops, the walls, the stove, and well...everything. It scared him half to death and he dropped it with this shocked look on his face. I'm standing there sopping wet and just starting laughing hysterically. Then he started laughing. He's the last one. I'm going to miss this stuff.
I actually welcome telemarketers to call me. The last one that called, I made sexually inappropriate advances towards him till he was completely uncomfortable and flustered. Before he hung up he notified me that he was putting me on the 'do not call list' because of *my* behavior. :) SCORE!
I think tonight, after all the kids are asleep. After all the laundry is folded. After all the dogs are settled down and sleepy. After a long hot shower, I will take a wine cooler out on my front patio, watch the stars, and enjoy the quiet.
I love my SIL, she's like a cross between June Cleaver and Martha Stewart. I'm more like....Roseanne. :D I love that we can respect each others parenting styles instead of being snarky. :)
