I just read, on CNN, about a girl who committed suicide because she was being bullied by other girls in her high school. What a sad story. I don't know what to think about that. I live in FL and there are rules in place in the schools here for "anti-bullying". I don't know how well the rules work, but my DD in HS doesn't seem to have any problems with bullying. If I ever found out she was a bully herself, she would be in for it. If she was getting bullied, I would make sure to get her help ASAP and notify her school. I just hope that if it ever comes to that, she will tell me.

Since becoming a vegetarian at the beginning of December of 2009, I've lost quite a bit of weight. Another perk as been my period. It has become very light and only lasts about three days. Yay me!

I had to have emergency dental surgery due to an outrageous abscessed tooth. It would have cost me over $1000 to fix it. I have dental insurance and it only cost me $241. I cannot imagine what people with our insurance would have done. Shame on the people and law makers in this country thinking that insurance isn't important enough for all people to have. I already pay into Medicare and other federal programs. I would gladly give more so others can have insurance too.

RIP Alex Chilton. I loved his music :(
