I think people who move home to be near mommy and daddy when their husbands are gone need to grow the hell up. You are not a child anymore, quit acting like one. You are teaching your kids nothing. They are going to grow up thinking that when the going gets tough, they can just run back to their parents and mommy and daddy will take care of everything. Life doesn't work that way, sorry.
If you can't comb your hair, don't leave your house.
If you can't control your kids inside the store, then take them to the park where they can play outside.
If your kids are at least three years old and you are still wearing your maternity clothes, loose the weight.
Fix yourself up and have some pride about yourself. Represent you husband and your family better than you have been. Your life should not be this out of control. And even if it is, it shouldn't be obvious just by looking at you.
You are running around town looking a HOT MESS and making the other wives look bad. I'm sick of it and you better start pulling yourself together because next time I am going to call you out.
You are part of the problem. You are part of the reason people think the military is full of dumb asses, and rejects. I'm sick and tired of having to defend you.
You are the face the public sees most of the time now, and you wont even wash your damn face before you leave the house!
We are all going through deployments at one time or another so that is not and will never be an excuse. I am not asking you to be a fashion queen or a glamour girl, but I do expect you to be a PROUD MILITARY WIFE!

Confession:
I don't understand how so many girls have husbands who are so close to their own age, or even are younger than they are. Personally, and this is just my opinion, I like traditional roles in my marriage. My husband is the leader of our family, and I am happy to submit to him. I like that his leadership is seasoned with age, and years of life experience I don't have. I don't know how much I could really justify to myself that I should submit to him if he had the same amount of life experience as I have, or God forbid, less! I just don't think I could respect him as a leader if we brought the same qualifications to the table.
Question:
If you're someone whose husband is right about your age, or even if he's a bit younger than you, how does that work?
I'm not judging. I'm just interested to know, and if I ask people I know IRL, they will laugh at me.
Yes, I am one of "those" mother's you will see in the the commissary with loud children. One of my children will sit in the front of the cart, and the other is too big to put in the cart. You may see my older child(5 yrs old) run up and down the aisle. You'll bitch,and say why can't she control her children. Well, I can control my children, and my children are usually very well behaved. For some reason, and I cannot figure out why, they tend to act up in stores.
Then when I try to distract him by letting him use the kiddy carts, people still bitch, because he may accidentally knock into their cart. So, what would you rather have? My child running up and down the aisle or my child focusing his attention on pushing a kiddy cart and might accidentally knock into you? At least he isn't running up and down the aisle now. Give me a break people! Don't act like your children have NEVER misbehaved in public or were on the hyper while out taking care of business.
Oh, and by the way, NO I don't have a babysitter to watch my kids while I shop. I can't afford it!! Even if I could I don't know if I can just trust some stranger to watch my children.
Okay, I'm done venting.
Women who think that men are better than women just because "we don't have the same equipment" are so stupid they shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.
I am an officers wife, not an enlisted wife. Not that I think I am better than you, but definitely more educated. Stop getting pregnant every 9 months, go to school, stop maxing out your star card, pay off your debt and quit crying to me every time you and your stupid husband screw something up. I just think it's funny how the majority of this crap happens on the lower enlisted side of the house. I'm not saying a fellow officers wife has never come to me with a problem or been ignorant... Just the majority are uneducated trashy and are the reason we have our own wives club. Now... have at me because I know your gonna!
