I don't miss the military life much. Most wives I know who husbands got out, got divorced because they married for the lifestyle, not the man. Its sad. I don't miss being around those types of people.

I think electricity, water and natural gas for the home should be a basic right. those companies should not be able to make millions in profit and yet people struggle. Dont know how it could be done.

My Mother lives 8 miles from me, she comes to town on a daily basis, she has only saw my 9 year old DS 5 times if that. She will drive by my house to go see my other siblings, but never stops in to see us. I have been to see her.

I live in a town of 30,000 just outside a city. The only chain we have in our area is 2 Starbucks and 1 Subway. You want your cheap chain crap? You drive or walk 2 miles away for it. We've fought to keep that trash out and will continue to do so. We have our own local restaurants and coffee shops that deserve our money more.

500 a month loan payment for a house just outside the city of a military town, 2200sqft, 3bd/2ba, half acre, fenced in back yard, updated kitchen and bathrooms, single-story home, no garage though. It's just outside the county limits, so it's really cheap.

I grew up with European cars my whole life and I live in America. My parents grew up driving giant Dodges or Fords and were happy when other choices became available. Mercedes was a top choice because they were made of pure metal and got good gas mileage. I didn't even know they were a status symbol and still don't consider them to be one. To me, when assembled in Germany it means sturdy and durable. Maybe things have changed but to me luxury means Aston Martin, RR, or Ferrari. Everything else is run of the mill.

I saw a posting on Pinterest with a man and a pit bull. It said: This is the most dangerous animal in the world. It is responsible for millions of deaths every year. By its side, a Pit Bull sits peacefully.

I rent a 1450sqft house for $850 a month. I'm looking at a 2200sqft house to buy, my monthly payments would roughly be $500 a month which includes taxes and insurance. I live in a military town, but houses are pretty cheap.

I don't really get this whole "women age like milk and men age like wine" thing I think both age about the same. The men who just appear to keep looking better and better are few and far between (and ironically many of them are movie stars who probably have the money to pay for cosmetic treatments). And you get women who just keep getting better and better too...just it's not the norm for either gender.

I am a "fatty" at heart. I love junk food. My weight always fluctuates from being a great weight to 14 lbs over that. I am on my little running kick so I can get back to my goal weight now, and yesterday I wanted a Big Mac and large fries. So, I ran 2 miles to the nearest McDonalds and then ran 2 miles back home with my food. Some people I knew saw me and wanted to laugh because it was weird, but then decided at least I was running while they ate fast food in their cars :) I can't eat much junk food without working for it or I will feel gross.
