When I called out my SIL about her "oh my god we were going to go to the race" on facebook she deleted it. Long story, but she knows why I did it and it doesn't cause trouble between her and my bro or me and my bro. She doesn't like me and I don't like her, but we are able to put that aside for family sake. If she saw a post of mine that was like that she would call me out and it wouldn't cause a problem.

I enjoy Duck Dynasty. Compared to the Kardashians and many other reality shows its very family oriented. You don't see "clean" shows on anymore. No cussing, fighting, drinking or smoking...love it. Not only that but I love how its family oriented. After all how can you not get tickled at an uncle handcuffing himself to his nephew and not knowing where the keys are! haha

I own a cleaning company. My best employee makes roughly 25% per clean, comes out to approx $11/hr, slightly more sometimes. You think I'm a big fat meanie who doesn't want to pay people? Get over yourself. I pay what the job & employee is worth so that *my* family can live. It's not about a living wage, it's about how much skill is required to do the job. Anyone can clean=lower wage. Not everyone can build their own customer base, buy their own products, advertise, etc=higher wage. And that employee is GRATEFUL that I pay her so well for this type of work.

I would LOVE a manual labor job. I wouldn't have to be attached to my email 24/7. I could leave my work at work. I wouldn't have to work on vacation! If I could just work with my hands as hard as I could all day, and at the end I'd have built a road or a car or a phone or a house and I could SEE what I'd made happen, that sounds so satisfying. But I can't support myself, much less my family, for the pay that is offered. The problem isn't the Chinese people or illegal immigrants taking these jobs. It's the American companies unwilling to pay a living wage for an American to fill them.

Judging from what I've read, I really believe Nancy Lanza was mentally ill and her son inherited that from her. That's why she thought nothing was wrong with stockpiling weapons. She probably didn't think he was mentally ill because she had the same thing.This kid was not parented, he was enabled by a wacko...i wonder why his father and brother were never around. Guns or no guns, this was an insane family.

I'd never heard of the McStay family- how odd.... The Maura Murray (New Hampshire) story is one that I think of from time to time- another odd story I hope gets solved.

Every time I read about the McStay family, my heart breaks. How does a whole family just disappear? So, so sad.

My SIL pretty much blackballed the non-Catholics of our family.

I'm the black sheep of my family too. IDK why, because they all think they're better than me even though they have multiple kids with multiple people, do drugs, are drunks, lost their licenses, live at home with mommy when they're almost 30, lie about what I do to make me look like I'm doing horrid things...etc. I guess it's more out of jealousy, because I have a pretty happy life with 1 kid, I'm a SAHM with a DH that makes good money so we don't have to live off the gov't like they do, and we moved across country near the beach.

Hi I am the 'black sheep' of my family of 6 kids. I don't really know why they dislike me. I to my knowledge have not done anything to make them like that, even my Mom doesn't talk to me but does the other kids.
