There are a multitude of reasons to hunt and kill your own meats and also to garden and raise your own foods. My dd, unlike many kids, knows her burgers come from cows (or deer), her Thanksgiving dinner comes from a bird with fine feathers, her fish have never seen a processing plant. I also know her chicken is antibiotic and steroid free and was raised in the sunshine eating grass, corn, and bugs the way an animal should.

Been eating healthy for a week. No heartburn, I'm sleeping better and I feel better. Went to a cookout last night and ate horribly. This morning I have a food hangover. Uhg.

Humans do have a purpose for the earth. We are a part of the food chain and are needed just like every other living creature. The problem with humans is we have found ways to continue living way past what we naturally would have without medical advances and the human species is over populated because of it. We have many advances that are destructive to the earth. We serve a purpose, but we need to get things under control to help our plant more than what we have done.

Op whose dh has the option of getting me insured or paying higher taxes. I do work but not enough hours to get benifits and we make a little too much to be on food stamps or any other government assistance.

Right now they're training certain military members in raiding homes, the same way hitler taught his military to raid homes. The US government is preparing to do to us what Hitler did to the jews. They've been preparing for a long time...making school easier so people are dumber, GMO foods to make us sicker, doing what they can to prevent a revolution.Obama is slowly trying to take our guns away so we can't protect ourselves when his trained military raid our homes. Whats in history books isn't really true, it's just the US governments way of manipulating us.

If Monsanto's GMO foods are so safe, then why do they serve organic food in their cafeterias and not their own GMO foods?

If you believe Dr. Oz or Joseph Mercola (both of whom are money hungry liars) and are posting about the dangers of "gmo's" please, delete yourself from my friends list. But before that, please read actual toxicology reports from real scientists. I swear, between vaccinations,pasteurization, fluoridated water, and now genetically altered food, I'm going to lose my mind. Stop believing that everything is out to get you! People are such sheep these days, believing what any moron on tv says. Check out scholarly articles for your facts, not blogs!

"Pro-life" should be changed to "pro-birth"...considering most pro-life people I know are against welfare, food stamps, etc.
