Enough about gay marriage--I think that Gain is the best laundry detergent. That is my opinion and I am entitled to it.

In America we like to boast about how developed and modernized we are when compared to "barbaric" countries in Africa and the Middle East. If that is the case why do we waste time making healthcare so expensive, encouraging stupidity instead of education, trying to limit same sex marriage, access to birth control, and safe abortions? That is very backward to me. Shouldn't a developed nation be past such things?

If gay marriage is ok, what's the big deal about polyagmy? I don't agree with any of it, it just seems that some people are ok with homosexuality but not polyagmy.

It's funny how, when you break down all the arguments in opposition to gay marriage, that people instantly fall back on the morality argument. And they don't see a problem with foisting their personal moral beliefs on others.

I believe if gay marriage becomes legal, the next thing is bigamy and polygamy. Yeah. A contract is between 2 people. A marriage contract is only between one man and one woman and people want that to change. So, we change it again to allow more than 2 people to marry, which then could possibly change contract laws for other things.

Gay marriage and homosexuality doesn't make me uncomfortable. It makes me sad to know they are going to Hell. You can say what you want about religion and call me a nut or whatever you like. This is my opinion and my conscience and I will vote with it every.single.time. Don't like it? That's just too bad. Make fun of me all you want and call me a bigot. It won't hurt me in the least.

My XDH and I had a lot in common. We had many of the same values, hobbies, and interests. That made for a long, pleasant marriage. At times it was a little boring, but more importantly it lacked passion. XBF of 2 years and I were extremely different. That made for an interesting relationship and it was full of passion. But in the end there was too much frustration for both of us. I need to find a guy who is somewhere in the middle. Just the perfect mix of the two.

I am Catholic. I don't hate gays. Why can't we all just have civil unions from the government?? Save marriage for churches!

What happened to Love Thy Neighbor? Is that only if your neighbor is in a heterosexual marriage and have children? Sorry childless neighbors across the street, I can't love you. Sorry gay ( interracial to boot!) couple three houses down, I can't love you either, but what will you do with the two adopted boys you have been raising since birth? I know, Just give them to neighbors across street that way I can love them since I'm not supposed to love you regardless.

Anyone who thinks gay marriage should be banned needs to read the story about the woman who died alone in the hospital. Her partner of several years was not allowed to see her in the ICU because she didn't have legal rights due to not being wed to the patient. Hospital staff happily kept her away bleating about how she had no right to be there as her partner passed away with no one at her side. That is sick, inhumane, and twisted.
