I feel sorry for the lesbian teen who is being charged with a felony for sexual contact with her 14 yo girlfriend. But I don't think it's because she is gay. Lots of young men are charged with these crimes. One of my DS did ail time for the very same thing this girl did. It's called EQUAL RIGHTS not SPECIAL RIGHTS.

shareI have a friend who was sexually abused by her father as a child. She is an adult now, and has come to terms with her past, and has forgiven him. She said that in order to find closure she needed to face him, and ultimately forgive him. She does NOT believe in death penatly, and I understand her reasoning. Not that every victim will walk her path, but maybe one more does, and that'll be good.
In a society where 11 year olds get pregnant and you get money for popping out babies even though you're living in a ditch, of course people who pass on sex will be seen as freaks. As humans we are capable of controlling our urges. Some may not have any at all. Nothing wrong with either IMO.
I'm in my late twenties and I haven't had sex in over a decade, even though I have a strong libido. I'm extremely healthy. I eat good food. I run marathons. I'm happy. I have great family and friends. I cannot IMAGINE it's actually true that my life is cut shorter than it would otherwise be just because I'm celibate. Sex is not a need. It's a desire. Period.
No sex = No humans and we all die out. Seems pretty vital to me, even if it's important that we have air to breath and food to eat first. Sex is a basic part of all creatures functioning. Humans are the only ones who get so uptight about it though!
