My cousin doesn't want me to have a Tinkerbell party for DD. Her reason Tinkerbell and hello Kitty are for Lesbians. I'm Bi and my sister is a Lesbian and we have never heard that shit. DD's 1st birthday cake will be Tinkerbell.

I let my little guy with autism pick what he wanted for his birthday lunch: Goldfish crackers, peanut butter crackers, and Spiderman gummies. (You either have to laugh or cry...I'm choosing to laugh and steam some vegetables for dinner!)

WWE is coming to town the week of my sons/husbands/nephews birthday. I got them tickets! They're all silly redneck boys and I will officially be the best Mom/Wife/Aunt EVER!

MIL says "I would NEVER miss one of the kids birthdays!" in regards to one of BIL's kids birthdays. Had she forgotten that she has missed DD's 4th birthday and is ALREADY planning to be gone for DS's birthday? Ds's birthday falls on a Sunday this year and I'm not planning on having it late on a Sunday night. It doesn't work for anyone else. But I just got an email saying MIL/FIL will be gone that weekend but they will be able to be back in time for a Sunday evening celebration. Too bad, I was planning on having the party Saturday Looks like you miss another one.

4 y.o. DD was told by a little girl at school this morning, "I just put the invitations to my birthday party in everyone's mailbox. You don't get one." I get parties are expensive and sometimes not all kids can be included. If that's the case, mail the flippin' invites and tell your kid not to talk about the party at school since not everyone can be invited. So sad my little girl gets to experience her first time being snubbed. So annoyed at the thoughtless parents.

I used to get excited about the birthday gifts that came in that infamous blue box. This year I got excited about a pickaxe. Yes, I asked for and got a pickaxe for my birthday.... and I could not be happier!

My mother-in-law is mad at my DH for not calling to wish his 13 year old half-brother a happy birthday. My husband feels guilty and is buying him a gift. I feel like a bitch since my husband’s birthday was a few days ago and my brother-in-law did not say anything to DH. At thirteen, the boy is more than capable of getting on the phone when my in-laws called my husband to wish him a happy birthday. He is such a spoiled brat and it is so hard to keep my opinion to myself.
