I secretly think myself superior to women who didn't bother to try breastfeeding. Not those who couldn't, and not those I don't know, but those women I know personally and know for a fact didn't try. Oh, formula is expensive and your baby is allergic to all the ones you're trying? And you didn't attempt to feed her what you make for free, designed for her, because...?

in all of your public self-congratulations for losing so much weight because you are "working your butt off" exercising 3 times a week and eating healthy, you neglect to mention to these poor woman for whom you are becoming a "weight loss role model" that YOU. OP of the broken condom. It is also day 14 of my cycle. I have been irregular since getting my period back after breastfeeding and my period is coming every 40ish days (which is odd for me). Crap crap crap, so not ready for a baby.

I want to preface this confession by saying it is not about breastfeeding, as such. I just read a thing on CNN about how NYC is considering "locking up" formula for new moms. NYC thinks you're not smart enough to make your own choices! Neither does the gov't, which wants you to have an unnecessary ultrasound before getting an abortion. Ladies! All of you--moms, CF, pro-BF, pro-formula, homeschoolers, cosleepers, stay-at-homes, professional women--the gov't thinks it can decide better than you. Are you sick of this shit yet?!

Any insinuation that a mother would breastfeed for some sort of sexual benefit is ignorant. There is absolutely no sexual stimulation from breastfeeding. In the beginning it hurts like hell and after a while, there is very little sensation in your breasts anymore. It was a full year after weaning my son before the sensation came back. Even when my dh would touch/kiss them, nothing...no sexual satisfaction at all.

I think breastfeeding is so gross. So many things about kids are gross. how they grow inside you, rip through your vagina coming out, scream and poop, throw tantrums, make messes and then become sullen teenagers. Plus they are expensive. I'm not having any.

I didn't breastfeed. One of my friends gave me a particularly hard time about it. She said she loved breastfeeding because it felt good. I didn't think she was creepy or weird for admitting that- just honest.

I think when a child can walk, talk, and pick up their own eating utensils you shouldnt be breastfeeding. There should be an age limit set on breastfeeding (like bottle feeding age 1) because this, to me, is borderline sexual abuse.

Long time Truuer. My opinions, breast feeding, couldn"t give a damn but I do think women who do those breastfeeding sit ins are idiots. Gay marriage, should have happened yesterday, my uncles gay amrriage is as important to my family as any other! Abortion, nobodies business but those involved! CF vs parents GTF over it, everyone makes different choices, life is not a competition. Pj's in public, lol, couldn't care less, if they have ducks or something on them I will applaude your sense of humor!

When I was having trouble breastfeeding because of nipple problems, my mom asked if my DH ever sucks on them. She wasn't being creepy, but she was sincerely concerned about my problem because I was so depressed. But that grossed me out so much that she would ask personal, sexual questions like that. Ick! Just can't share that stuff with my mom.
