Confessions for Showing 51 - 60 of 666
DH and I had a pregnancy "scare". Not that it would have been terrible but we have a holiday planned for January in the Bahamas and what kind of fun would that be with me feeling pregnant and unable to drink?! We are both relieved it was a scare for now and I have decided to go on the pill until further notice.
I deactivated my FB until after the holidays. It was stressing me out way too much, more than it should have. My sky high anxiety in general isn't helping.
I put my foot down and told my DH we are going to my families Christmas this year since we've not been to any holidays there in about 2 years. He grumbled but relented. His mother on the other hand looked like I slapped her when I said we were going there on Christmas day. my family is just as important lady!
My DH told FIL we were going to a Christmas theme park for a couple days to celebrate the holidays since he was scheduled to work on Christmas eve/day out of town. FIL thought we needed a sitter for the kids & was telling people my parents were watching them. Are you kidding me? We are going to a freaking family theme park and why would we not include our kids in our Christmas celebration? Idiot!!
MIL keeps hinting that I'll ruin Christmas. Yeah MIL, I'm going to get back at you for ruining every holiday or special occasion for the last 4 years by ruining a holiday for everyone else. Psycho.
MIL makes such a big deal that we don't make independent plans to see SIL and we see her very little at holidays. Hello! You know we would cut her off, but we see her just enough so MIL won't freak out. If adult siblings don't want a close relationship, they won't have one. Move on.
I had holiday spirit. Where did it go?
Having divorced parents makes planning holiday visits so frickin complicated...no, I can't be 3 places at once!!!
I'm not social either, and I have a holiday party to go to in which the mayor and governor of my state will be there. I'm scared to death.
