I am due to get a somewhat sizable amount of money soon. The plan is for dh and I to start a business. The problem is, I think he has grown bored with us and is only hanging around for the opportunity that it holds for him. I wish there were some way I could know. I have asked him and, of course, he says that's crazy. I mean, what else is he gonna say?

Op of the dodgy apartment application. Maybe i worded it wrong but it's not giving them our ssn card, they wanted to photocopy it. Dh is latin american and i think there is racist undertone. They backed off after we complain about that. Today we called to cancel our application and they said she took her day off today. I am ready to throw something. Their office close at 4, she is gone by 3, hard to contact her. No other apartment takes this long, she wasted our time and money when we can apply at other places.

DH and I make good money however, most of our paychecks goes to credit card debt. I want to put as much money as possible on the debt so we can quit paying outrageous interest month after month. DH feels it's perfectly normal to have to pay hundreds of dollars monthly on cc debt. We're living way beyond our means and I'm scared. I can't reel in his spending

I also dreamed my BFF and I embezzeled money. So weird!!

More promises of money from my MIL (incase you missed a previous confession, I expect nothing from her, she's not obligated at all, I just dislike endless promises). We're getting married and it's always oh, I'll pay for this and that... but then we never receive any money, I just budget with the money we actually have. Again, she's not obligated to give us anything, I just wish she'd stop making promises she has no intention of delivering on.

my husband's aunt has been receiving permanent disability due to thyroid cancer. she has been cancer free for 8 years. she still will not go back to work. she is lazy and doesn't want to work. i'm tired of my hard earned money paying for her to sit on her fat, lazy rear end. i reported her for fraud.

I will not be paying for my kids' weddings or college. I'll help them out if I can, but no one helped me. I had to make good grades, win scholarships and work while I went to school. When I got married we paid for it ourselves, although my parents gave us a little money as a gift to help out. As far as I'm concerned once you're adult you need to find a way to pay for those things yourself not depend on mommy and daddy. All the money I've made goes to raising them; they don't get my retirement fund too. Sorry kids!

The lottery is 360 million.If I won all that money, I was thinking of all the people I would want to help out. It would be amazing.

I'm kind of freaking out right now. About to put down a $2200 deposit on our reception venue. There is a $10000 food and beverage minimum as well as the $4000 rental. We can afford it but I have never spent so much money in my life. I never thought in a million yrs I would be spending over $20000 for a wedding. It's probably going to be over $30k. There is literally nowhere else that is near what I had in mind for a venue. I'm just so scared of spending money.

FIL was quite the investment guru in the day. The day being about 20 years ago. He then retired. FIL is bored and wants to manage our money. The man can't / won't use a computer - he would do the research / place the trades thru one of his old broker buddies. DH thinks this is a wonderful idea. I'm screaming eff no!
