Sd will be 18 in 1 month...she is here all day doing online school. I am getting sick of waking her up when she falls asleep several times a day. If she doesn't care about her future, why should I?

I am so sick of my dh & his laziness.He has this recliner in the living room he sits in that has a table next to it. On this table there is old coffee cups, wrappers from whatever he ate 3 days ago etc.I dont clean it up bc it is not my mess.Im so sick of his crap.He will eventually bring the stuff out to the kitchen.Even when he does that I dont wash his dishes bc he left them there to get crusty so he can wash them.I wash what my ds & I use.I also have to write ds name on his stuff for his school lunches or dh eats it ALL.LIke "back the eff up" dont get me started on his dirty clothes!

I am very excited that we are rounding the bend on his Oxford classes. After this, just two more trips of two weeks each. Then I will have my very own Oxonian. And the money will be there to send be back to school.

SIL liked redecorating her home so much that she decided that she wanted to be a professional interior decorator. she took an on-line course from one of those diploma mills and got a certificate. She's now annoyed that none of the firms in NYC will even call her in for an interview. She doesn't understand that people have gone to real school for years.

my 12 yr old son came home from school today very mad. He said that a boy in his class punched him in the head and was mocking him all day, and he could not take anymore. I was really mad and walked him back to school and talked to the teacher. the teacher said that he should have came to her instead of telling me. My son felt as if he was in trouble and said he was sorry.

My back went out in late january it took a couple of weeks for it to recover, it was so painful. My dh said well look at it like this, we can take care of ourselves, the kids can get themselves off to school, and you are a sahm that doesnt have to go anywhere or do anythjng but try and get better. So relax and get better. That made me feel good,. I love you dh.

This morning while getting DD ready for school, DH started snoring loudly in the next bedroom. We both couldn't stop laughing, it was so silly! Fortunately we didn't wake him up (if his snoring didn't, nothing would!)

My friend lost his son last yr in car accident, 19 yo. His son always broke out in sores all over his mouth at school picture time. All bis pics show this lovely. BOy w all these sores. My friend got so angry he yelled at god if you were going to take him so young why didnt you spare him these sores so all of my pictures arent of my boy w sores? I understand his anger, i do.

Another view to the "spoiled" kids of today. Earlier this month I spent a day coaching at a Science Olympiad invitational. there were 60 teams 20 kids each. Lots of kids DWs DHs volunteers, teachers and fun. The kids were well behaved, smart, prepared, engaged, courteous. A lot of support from parents. DWs and DHs working together. There is hope. BTW my school did well.

My best friend and her DS4 and DS7 always have cold sores in the winter.The 7 year old has a huge cold sore in his school picture. I am very grossed out by that. But of course I dont say anything.
